Privacy Policy

What personal information DIGIBLOCK collects through this website, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the choices you have.

Last updated

This document is pending professional legal review

It accurately describes how this website works, and we have verified each factual statement in it. It has not yet been reviewed by a qualified legal professional against the specific statutes of every jurisdiction we operate in, and some clauses that a final version should carry — including our registered company details and governing law — are not published yet. We would rather say that here than imply a completeness we have not reached.

The short version

This website collects very little. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not track you across the web or build a profile of you. The only personal information we receive is what you type into a form and send to us.

The sections below say the same thing in more detail, including the parts that are less convenient — the record your browser leaves with our hosting provider, and the companies that handle your message on its way to our inbox.

Who this policy is from

This policy covers DIGIBLOCK's website and the enquiry, consultation, newsletter and career application forms on it. It does not cover work we carry out for clients under a separate agreement — those engagements have their own terms, and where we handle data on a client's behalf we do so under that agreement rather than this policy.

For anything in this policy, write to digiblock.marketing@gmail.com.

Information you give us

We only receive this when you choose to submit a form. Nothing on this website collects it in the background.

Contact enquiries
Your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, and your message.
Consultation bookings
The above plus your company name, indicative budget, and your preferred date and time.
Newsletter
Your email address, and nothing else.
Career applications
Your name, email address, phone number, the area you are interested in, a link you provide to your work, CV or profile, and what you write about yourself. We ask for a link rather than a file upload, so we do not receive or store attachments.

Please send only what is needed to answer you. Forms on this website are not a secure channel for financial details, identity documents, health information or passwords, and we never ask for them.

Information collected automatically

Two things happen without you doing anything, and both are ordinary technical necessities rather than tracking:

Server request records
Like every website, ours is served by a hosting provider whose infrastructure records requests — typically the IP address, the time, the page requested, and the browser's user-agent string. These logs exist to serve pages, diagnose faults and absorb attacks. We do not use them to identify individual visitors and we do not combine them with anything else.
Rate limiting
When a form is submitted, the sending IP address is held briefly in the server's memory to count submissions and stop a single source flooding the endpoint. That counter expires within ten minutes, is never written to disk, and is never transmitted anywhere.

What we do not do

Stated explicitly, because the absence of these is easy to miss and hard to verify from the outside:

  • We set no cookies of any kind — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences.
  • We run no analytics or measurement product, and there is no tag manager, session recorder or heatmap on this site.
  • We run no advertising pixels and no social media tracking scripts.
  • We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
  • We do not use your information to build a profile, score you, or make an automated decision about you.
  • Web fonts are served from our own domain. Loading a page on this site sends no request to Google Fonts or any other font service.

Why we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry, arrange a consultation, or consider your application — which is the reason you sent it.
  • To send the newsletter, if you asked for it, and only until you ask us to stop.
  • To keep the website working and protect it from abuse.
  • To keep records of our correspondence where we are required to, or where we may need them to establish or defend a legal claim.

We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing. If you contact us about one thing, that is the thing we will contact you about.

Who else handles your information

We keep this list short on purpose. Each of these is a service provider processing information on our instructions, not a party we sell data to.

Email delivery (Resend)
Form submissions are turned into an email and delivered through Resend, which processes the contents in transit in order to deliver the message.
Our email provider
The enquiry arrives in our own mailbox, which is hosted by an email provider. Your message rests there for as long as we keep the correspondence.
Hosting
Our hosting provider serves the website and holds the technical request records described above.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our people or the security of our systems. If that ever happens we will limit the disclosure to what is actually required.

These providers may process or store information on servers outside your country. Where that is the case, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place for international transfers.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and consultation requests: kept as ongoing correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any resulting relationship, then removed when it is no longer needed.
  • Career applications: kept while we consider you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case something suitable opens up. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: kept until you unsubscribe.
  • Rate-limiting records: minutes, in memory only.
  • Hosting request logs: retained on our hosting provider's standard schedule.

Your choices and rights

Whatever jurisdiction you are in, you can ask us to do the following, and we will act on it:

  • Tell you what information of yours we hold.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete what you sent us, unless we are required to keep it.
  • Stop sending you the newsletter, or stop contacting you altogether.
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.

Email digiblock.marketing@gmail.com and say what you want done. We do not charge for this, and we will not ask you to justify the request. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority; you are welcome to raise it with us first, but you do not have to.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS, form submissions are validated and rate-limited on the server, and access to the mailbox that receives enquiries is restricted to people who need it.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we would rather say so than imply a guarantee we cannot make. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will act on it and notify you and the relevant authority where we are required to.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and working professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles information, this policy changes with it, and the date at the top is updated. If a change is significant and we hold a way to contact you, we will tell you rather than relying on you to re-read the page.
